In my previous listing I compile a little list of some of the reggae albums that I considered to be the creme de la creme of reggae labums. note that that list would change depending on my moods and my current memory. I know so many thousands of albums, and I could compile a new list everyday. but for now let's say that that is it.
When it comes to singles, we are faced with the same problem, except that this time the selection becomes even harder since reggae production of singles is phenomenal in terms of volumes. But again, I will bite the bullet, and give you a list that, today, I consider to be my top ten of roots reggae singles.
It goes like:
- Bob Marley a and the wailer : Revolution
- Delroy Williams : Three men in a truck back
- Ossie Dellimore : Time has come
- The Gladiators : Guts
- The Twinkle Brothers : Barabas
- Misty in Roots : Poor and Needy
- Black Roots : juvenile delinquent
- Edit Fitzroy : First class citizen
- Israel Vibration : We a di rasta
- Freddie McKay : Blow wind blow
I hope you like the list. Try and find those tune for they all are top top reggae tunes. One Love!!
